Specialized unveils new Tarmac
RIDER FIRST ENGINEERED
‘Conçu pour le cycliste avant tout‘, annonce la marque américaine avant d’expliquer que cette nouvelle génération de Tarmac propose un comportement identique quelque soit la taille de cadre grâce à une conception prenant en compte deux mesures différentes au lieu d’une auparavant (rigidité en torsion). La rigidité est spécifique à chaque taille mais directement en corrélation avec la qualité de roulage souhaitée, ce qui donne un niveau de performance uniforme améliorant la maniabilité et garantissant un transfert de puissance équitable.
La géométrie n’évolue pas, à noter l’intégration du serrage de selle comme autre nouveauté outre le concept ‘Rider First Engineered‘.
‘Rider First Engineered‘ concept is about having the same level of efficiency and handling whatever is the size of the bike. Instead considering torsional stiffness only for creating different frame sizes, Specialized considers 2 measurements for guarantying the same level of performance on each size with an equal power transfer and great handling. S-WORKS TARMAC
Les premiers modèles disponibles dès cette mi-mai sont les versions S-Works (en carbone FACT 11r) en kit cadre (prix public : 3199 €) et vélo complet en Shimano Dura-Ace mécanique – roues Roval Rapide CLX 40 – pédalier S-Works (prix public : 7499 €, 2 coloris – voir ci-dessous) tandis que les autres modèles, y compris ceux utilisant un système de freinage à disques, arriveront entre juin et août. Tailles 49, 52, 54, 56, 58, 61.
First models available (mid May 2014) are S-Works ones, frame kit + Shimano Dura-Ace Mech complete bike (Roval Rapide CLX 40 wheels – S-Works cranks – 2 colors, see below). Others models will come later between June and August 2014. Sizes 49, 52, 54, 56, 58, 61.
TARMAC
Concernant ces autres modèles à venir ultérieurement et dont les tarifs restent encore indéfinis, précisons tout de même les montages des différentes versions.
