Objective

Responsible for the definition and execution of all the R&D projects according to the
Product Creation Process. Including the management of the resources, planning and budget for all these projects and this from start creation till start production.
Continuous search for new technologies, designs, ideas which can strengthen the DNA
of Ridley Design/Development in close cooperation with the Commercial Director and CEO.

Areas of responsibility

– Defines the vision and strategy for the product creation process and the R&D roadmap
– Drives the product/process/technology roadmap
– Owner of the product creation process
– Manage all the projects defined in the roadmap on timing, budget, cost price and quality
– Continuous search for new opportunities in our field
– End responsibility of all the components used in the Ridley products, responsible for the – final BOM Scope
– Member of the local Management Team
– Base location is Paal-Beringen, Belgium.

Profile

– Master degree
– >10 years experience in R&D in our business
– Knowledge of English, Dutch. Knowledge German is an advantage
– Knowledge of ERP
– Knowledge of 2D software. Knowledge of 3D design is a plus
– Knows how to work with MS projects.
