L’organisateur italien des SuperEnduro propose cette année un circuit de 3 courses, appelées Supermoutain dans le but de proposer un challenge DH Marathon en Italie. Qualifications le samedi, 2 DH Marathon de dimanche. Scopello (province de Vercelli en région piedmontaise) accueillait la dernière étape le week-end du 29 et 30 septembre 2012. Manuel Ducci l’emporte (ainsi que le challenge) après une lutte acharnée avec le crosseur médaillé olympique Marco Aurelio Fontana. Davide Sottocornola prend la troisième place.
Scopello (Piedmontese province of Vercelli), played host to the third and last race of the Supermountain series, the new gravity race format, designed by Superenduro to introduce marathon downhill to Italy. Supermountain is a weekend on the trails that guarantees riders hours of fun runs on Saturday during the qualifications and two high-adrenaline race runs on Sunday.
Here the video with the highlights of the race. After the heavy rain fall of the Saturday that characterized the practice, Manuel Ducci both wins the race and the circuit after an intense fight with Marco Aurelio Fontana second overall and Davide Sottocornola third.
