fi’zi:k improves the Tundra range
La marque italienne apporte quelques modifications sur son modèle phare destiné au VTT XC, la Tundra. La Tundra 2 avait déjà été profondément revue il y’a 3 ans par rapport à la précédente Tundra.
Ces nouvelles Tundra 2014 conservent la forme de la Tundra 2 et ses dimensions (290×125 mm) mais les appellations changent pour s’accorder avec le système de nomination du reste de la gamme, chaussures comprises. Logique donc de retrouver les M1, M3 et M5, la lettre signifiant MTB et le chiffre le niveau de gamme. Mais ce n’est pas tout, la coque passe en WingFlex, procédé issu de la gamme route fi’zi:k pour un confort accru. Un petit couvercle plastique vient s’ajouter sous le nez de selle pour un meilleur maintien du revêtement Microtex, évitant ainsi les risques de décollage. Les coloris et formes des panneaux du revêtement changent également, pour des besoins purement esthétiques. La très haut de gamme Tundra 00 ne change par contre pas et reste au catalogue.
Italian brand launches new Tundra range, using the same shape and dimensions (290 x 125 mm) as previous Tundra 2, deeply re-designed 3 years old replacing the first generation of Tundra. Same shape but several improvements and new naming following the same system as the others fi’zi:k products. Here we have now M1, M3 and M5 models, M for MTB, the number telling the range level. WingFlex shell, coming from road fi’zi:k range for a better comfort. Little additional cap comes under the nose, avoiding to have the Microtex cover pealing of in case of gluing issue. Cover panels change a bit in term of design and colors, for accurate cosmetic. Top high end Tundra 00 doesn’t change and keep running for 2014.
